The Burning Times

This is an older documentary, but it remains to me one of the best descriptions of this particular period of interest and does a far better job explaining some perceptions of witchcraft than more modern documentaries.

wow, I didn’t know all of that. I wish they taught the truth in the school systems.

    • Schools have finite resources and a limited spectrum of what the children need to know in order to “pass” their classes with “sufficient knowledge”. I say it in quotes because there is no such thing. And if I may be a feminist for as moment, our history is traditionally interpreted as a fundamentally patriarchy development. Anything attributing women with power, control and a part to play tends to get erased from the lines.
